Owl Head Black Ink Sketch Timelapse Drawing

Happy New Year! Here we have my first completed sketch of the new year. I love owls and haven't sketched one out for quite some time. This sketch started with my red Ticonderoga pencils to get the base going then we pick up the timelapse with me starting the inking process.

For this drawing I went with black in and tried a new pen that I happened to pick up at the local Publix. The pen is a Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball Extra Fine pen. The paper, also purchased at Publix, is Heavyweight Acid-Free drawing paper.
