The journey begins with us looking back toward Port Everglades as the ship makes its way out to sea. Watch the coastline slowly disappear behind us while boats cross the water and a pilot boat travels alongside Jewel of the Seas during the departure.
But the real show is happening in the sky.
The setting sun to the west backlights an incredible formation of towering Florida storm clouds, constantly changing shape and color as the ship moves farther into the Atlantic. Meanwhile, the ocean itself is almost unbelievably calm, creating a beautiful contrast between the dramatic sky above and the smooth, placid water below.
